Organic Nanners
After a late lunch/early dinner at Pracna ("the oldest restaurant on the oldest street in Minneapolis"), I biked over to The Wedge for some overpriced produce. The expense was worth it: while I was browsing the bulk goods aisle, I bumped baskets with a guy who looked just like Mr. T.

Good for you. I much admire the experiment, having recently vowed never to shop Best Buy, Sams Club, or HOme Depot again.
Book stores are tough, though, since there are so few independents left.
I'm a fellow Twin Cities resident, so I'm looking forward to following your story.
Is "Pracna" a Czech place? If so, is your implication in "the oldest restaurant" a gesture of ambassadorship, espionage, or protest toward the German brauhaus? ;-)
Pracna sounds Czech, but the food is American. They have the most awesome turkey sandwich. The "oldest restaurant on the oldest street" claim is Pracna's--my army of fact-checkers has yet to prove or disprove it.
