What am I saying? This, friends: I'm temporarily changing the parameters of this experiment. From today until December 25th (that's Christmas, heathens!), I'm going to shop exclusively at chain stores: no independents allowed.

Will it be easier? Or will it be tougher?
I guess I'll find out.

P.S. I don't buy Christmas gifts (because I'm a heathen, dropouts!), so my month's contribution to the bottom lines of global corporations shouldn't be too significant.

I call bullshit! But then again this is an experiment born out of a ridiculously long car ride through the nothingness that is Indiana. You should see if it is more expensive or not.
So what chains did you go to in Ukraine? Maxx? "Church"? Double Coffee? And I think that is nearly all the chains in Ukraine.
Wait - you go to the land of no chain stores, and when you come back all you want to do is shop at chain stores? Wahhh?
